Eva Timber is pleased to offer European Larch. Available from our UK landed stock, or forward full loads direct ex mill. Our Larch, grown around the Northern boarders of Austria, is cut to order and graded above the standard I-IV grading rules for European Larch.
Suited for cladding, our Larch is graded Sawfalling I-III, sap free 1 side and excluding all wane and blue stain. The natural knot structure of Austrian Larch is small and tight, and perfectly suited for planing to cladding profiles.
Lengths are primarily 4.0m and 5.0m with some 3.0m trim backs that develop during the grading process. The timber is progressively kilned to 16% moisture content, and is full to size after drying.
Progressive kilning is kinder to the wood, significantly reducing kilning shakes and resin bleed. Goods are 5 sides plastic wrapped. Forward orders are delivered by door-to-door trailer directly from the sawmill.
We offer a wide range of standard sizes, and can produce bespoke sizes if required. Please ask a member of our sales team.
