Our CLS (Canadian Lumber Standard) is a treated and non-structural grade. It can be used as a general-purpose building carcassing timber for internal first fix applications, such as stud walls.
Ideally suited to indoor construction work, especially when creating internal walls and partitioning, our CLS studwork timber is kiln-dried in its country of origin to best prepare it for use. It is also predominantly C16 grade.
During the manufacturing process, our CLS studwork timber is machine planed and regularised, leaving four smoothed surface sides and rounded eased edges for safe handling and easy transportation.
There are many advantages to CLS timber including its exceptional strength and superior durability over other varieties of wood timber. This makes it a perfect product for construction and internal structural work.
At Eva Timber, we stock CLS C16 in two sizes – 50mm x 75mm (38mm x 63mm finished size) and 50mm x 100mm (38mm x 89mm finished size). Not only do we provide a wide variety of CLS studwork timber, but all our CLS timber is regularised and sustainably sourced from FSC or PEFC-certified forests. From CLS to carcassing, explore our vast range of regularised timber today.
