The material used for this joist hanger is pre-galvanised mild steel. With its galvanised design, it provides excellent support and is easy to install. Published performance values are based on the use of 3.75 x 30mm square twist nails throughout. The wider strap offers more surface area on the supporting timber, allowing for increased nail spacing and enhancing the performance of the critical hanger-to-support connection. The strap also has minimum and maximum nailing schedules stamped in for accurate installation by site operatives. Additionally, a speed-prong feature securely holds the hanger in place, eliminating the need for one-handed installation. The JHA270 range has a convenient location tab for easy alignment, and the model number and size are stamped into the seat for quick identification.
