Suitable for domestic or commercial use, Egger Protect is a chipboard flooring panel with a protective, waterproof layer on the top and bottom. It’s an excellent solution throughout a construction project when water could enter the building site.
The Egger Protect is designed for construction before a building has been made watertight or in the instance that the roof hasn’t been placed and secured. The resilient, waterproof coating allows exposure to construction work and adverse weather conditions for up to 60 days so that contractors can start work on the floor deck before the roof has been installed. When work is complete, the floor can be cleaned and primed for finishings such as laminate and carpet.
Egger Protect is a highly durable product and the waterproof coating makes it ideal for rooms where there is risk of damp, moisture, and humidity. It is commonly used in new builds, offices, and schools, plus a wide variety of construction projects.
